Birdypie Wow this was harder than last year for some reason. Suspect we set off a little too fast as I was puffing quite well by the time we got to Rottingdean. Found the yellow brick road easier than last time, W was much worse, snake felt a bit better but heat got to me after that point and I died a slow death on the way home. Tough as old nails this race but the views were spectacular!

Runna I really enjoyed this race. A beautiful day to be on the South Downs. Pleased with my run felt great for the last 6 miles and finished with something left in the tank. Good confidence booster for Beachy Head.

UltraCas Will I ever get it right on race day? Blacked out part way up the last part of the Big W as a result of lack of fuel, dehydration, the heat plus having vertigo from a 3 week old ear infection that I didn't know I had!
