Alopex Don't know much about this. Supposed to be quite scenic with some challenging hills. Very rural route encompassing footpaths, bridle paths & country roads at the base of the Chilterns. I understand there is a prayer before the race, which is novel. There is a 10K on the same day, which was tempting. I'll be treating this as a training run so won't be any way near challenging my PB AND it's my rugby club dinner the night before. Doh! ************************* That was hard work! Noticed more hills on the second lap. Super friendly event with marshals that smiled & had a sense of humour. Popped in the bakery in the town afterwards for a very thick slice of bread pudding - scrummy *************************
