About this parkrun
Feb 2012 - 99% tarmac, finish on grass - 5 (five!) laps up one side of the park and down the other side.njosmith 10th Jan 2019
Very friendly event. This was the 400th event so a bit more special. There were pacers for times from 19 to 33 minutes. Afterwards there was choc and banana cake offered around!

Lost count how many laps thought it was 6 up hill down hill etc good hill rep session. Really liked it though and there's a gym where you can shower at finish. Highbury & Islington station near.
Hills of Death (HOD) 25th Jul 2019
5 x 1km laps. Nothing quite like it. All round a square (smallish) in Highbury. Was fun though maybe busy now.

Great five-lapper around a lovely park. Slightly undulating but the short laps make it feel quite fast.

5 laps is much more fun than it sounds. Nice wide pavements to run on with grass at start and finish. Close to tube station and local cafes

The easiest parkrun to do in London from North by train - into Euston, one stop Victoria line to Highbury & Islington- 2 min walk to start. Muddy start & finish then 5 laps of the park on tarmac. the Swan Spoons is just behind the tube station 😎

Five laps around the park, pretty flat on good paths

5 laps, downhill feels longer than wee uphill. If busy congested course , but enjoyed it

Five laps, all on tarmac except two tiny bits at the beginning and end. Can be quite busy, but not too bad. Each lap has an uphill and a downhill part but not too steep. Very close to Highbury and Islington station (Victoria and Overground)
