Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

cabey73 first time in this race. It was as tough as promised but managed a decent enough time and pace. Used it as a pre marathon tester to see how my training is progressing. Mainained a higher than normal pace pretty much all the way around. Hardest part was just after mile 11, had to dig deep there.

Comedycare Beautiful day, course a bit tricky. Looking at my training, I've covered more elevation in regular training runs, so I don't know why this was so tough. Maybe it was the heat. Anyway, I had to walk several times between 8 and 10 miles. Good organisation and very friendly. Watch time.

Ferdi Found the first hill OK, but the second one was pretty tough, just to keep running rather than walking seemed like a major achievement. Slowest ever time for half mara, but seemed aslo the toughest one I've done so far and felt pretty exhausted at the end. Was really well organised and great post-race food laid on.

FerryMichael Finished under 2 hours - fantastic :-)
Very tired at end and legs pretty shot -struggling to walk afterwards. Kept close to 2009 time up to mile 8, when lack of distance training showed.
