automatic shoes Route was slightly long - at 5 mile marker in 44:18, so (as far as I'm concerned) I was within target. Thought I'd struggle up the hills and tried to make up time on the downhills - so did the 1st mile in under 7:45. But reality soon kicked in and before long I was doing my characteristic arthritic-crab style up the slopes. But overall pleased with my effort.
