Flat Out Fi I upgraded to the 17k distance as decided I needed to get my 10 mile run in somehow this week! It was a really tough course but really scenic too, went out to Rydal Water, up a real killer v v long hill to Loughrigg and then back round. I managed to run up the mile long hill somehow but boy it was tough. plus a v hot day too! Was v pleased to come 3rd lady. Neil did the 10k and was much faster than last year so he was v happy too. We were so lucky the sun was out! Met a bloke who knows Nick and Rebecca White! He spotted our Striders tops and came to introduce himself to us! I was 18th oval out of 150 plus so happy with that!
