Torbay Duchy marathon and 20 were held at the Penventon Park Hotel Redruth. There seemed to be plenty of parking. Registration was well organised and plenty of loos. I met Plodding Hippo and Diogenes at the start. This time I started off much slower and ran the first 13 miles with Diogenes. After this the marathon runners took a different course. There were a few hills and some strong winds which slowed me a bit. It was nice to see the sun. Water and sponge stations every 3 miles. All finishers got a medal, bannana, mars bar and cornish pasty (not as nice as Devon ones) I would like to do the marathon maybe next year.
