Boots Finished 1st in 26:36. Very pleased with the race and is my first ever victory on the road. Perhaps the time wasn't a true reflection of the form I'm in at the moment but there was nobody in front pulling me through which made it a lot harder. Course was a lot harder than I expected with many undulations, each potentially worth a good 2/3 seconds so there is definately a Sub26 due in 2008.

Runningheva My club is organising this race so I may not get the chance to run. Parts of the road around Draycote Water are being re-surfaced at the moment, so watch out along the hilly back end of the route. Weather was lovely, not too many midges. I enjoyed that.
