Firestarter Sorry Guys I blew it - 2 sec's out!! Started out really good, had a smooth start and was into my stride really quickly and keeping up with the lead group. On the money at the turn at the half mile but the wheels came off in the last quarter mile. I had nothing left and the guy ahead of me- who had been catch-able right up to that point just started to pull away. Can't blame the weather, although it was a little blustery at times and very cold, I just didn't do it :-(. Still First Vet home and 6th place overall I suppose is something.

ThorntonRunner Just wasn't really with it tonight. Possibly started off too fast trying to keep up with Firestarter. Was 4 seconds up on last time at 1/4 mile, still 4 seconds at 12 mile, and lost 21 seconds on second half! Decided to do a gentle warm down with FS rather than the 5k.

Trehis A little dissapointed that this was not quicker but preperation was not ideal as only turned up with minutes to spare and it was cold and I knew I would be running a fast 5k les than 15 minutes later.
