mikep Not sure I ever really thought that this would go well:a) I am about half a stone over weight (why do I do this every Christmas) b) the icy conditions over the past three weeks have rescricted me to short slow training runs and c) it is just so cold it takes me a good 2 k to have the confidence to really get up speed. The temperature today meant there were a few slippy bits in the early stages and the air was so cold I could not fill my lungs. In the end this turned into a strange fartlek session. Overall a reasonable result.
