cake muncher Placed 4th & 2nd vet. Ideal weather conditions for fast running. Had a really close battle with Jez Tomlinson all the way round with him pipping me by a second. Very pleased with this run.

gtwhitton thinking about this one. PB in 2005 (only time I've done it) was just outside 56 minutes. Given my injury history over the last year or so I think 1h05m is probably about right if I can manage it. Stamina is my problem so I might find I'll collapse at 6.5 miles. Won't know until I try though. **UPDATE** Thoroughly delighted with performance. Kept it sensible for first half and went through 4 miles in 30 minutes so happy I was on course to go sub 60. The second half being downhill was quite a bit faster and on the final hill realised I could be around my previous time so I went for it coming back down into Ceres and beat my previous time by 2 seconds. Can't believe it!!
