Kieren 2 birthdays to attend last night both on short notice so not feeling too clever today. Missed the start but was feeling fresh enough in the cold to run fast but felt bad for messing up Claire's race. Tried to pace her to 28 /29 mins but misjudged it a bit. Came in just under 30 by my clock but official time stands. I'll have to do some special runs in the summer to pull back the average

funkin Good run today and I tried something completely new for BPTT. Although I was wearing my heart rate monitor/watch, I didn't look at it one single time. I just got on and ran the race. I had a couple of small battles and didn't drop any positions in the final straight. As an aside, it rained throughout for the first time I've ever known at BPTT (this was my 30th time trial) and I loved it!! The trail shoes I've been using for the past few weeks are superb in this kind of weather.
