Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

beders This was supposed to be one of the toughest halfs in england, and they were damm right. 27C and constant hills, over 2200ft climbing with a bit of off raod as well made it the hardest half I've ever done. Managed to keep running up all the hills and achieved my target of getting round in under 2 hours ..just !! so well pleased. Started off steady as i knew what was coming so managed to maintain my pace and even reel in a few p[eople in the last few miles and a sprint finish round the square at the end to get under 2 hours ...YES !

Rob Extremely hot (28 deg C/82 deg F) and so many hills !!!!!!

Not too happy with my performance, although it was a PB for me. Only my second half, the other being the GNR 2005 and this was so much tougher. In hindsight I really enjoyed it as it is such a beautiful course compared with running in amongst 50,000 others on the GNR.

I will try and do this again next year as it is local and a great atmosphere.
