Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

funkin This is the one I really want to do well in this year. If I can run injury free and have plenty of time to return to fitness etc. I think I've got a good chance of getting close to 40 mins. Number has arrived: 157. * 14 March: Training going well so far this year, now I need to get some speed training done. * 3 April: Sod it, lets go for sub 40! * 14 May: After going sub 40 just over a week ago I just want to make sure I'm still sub 40 for this race. Here's hoping for good weather. As for betting on me, i'd say the odds of a PB are around 50%. * POST RACE: Weather was superb for running, I felt good and am very happy with the result. 50th overall as well. First 5k's were done in around 19:30 and then 20 minutes for the second half. I actually thought I ran faster in the second half, as I did push harder. A good final push got me past at least one guy near the finish.

eMpTy Set PB here last year which I bettered at Totton in April so big ask to reduce it again but ............... it is flat :o)

Just about a perfect day, compared to recent temperatures pretty hot but just a breeze rather than last years gale !!

Consistent pace except in 8th and 9th k's, have to work on concentration and grit :o)
