About this parkrun
2 and a bit laps. Starts gentle uphill on grass then undulates through woodland tracks down to castle, short uphill tarmac section and back to the grass - repeat. The finish is further away than you think. Rocky and rooty in the woods.Bacon rolls!

Went in early July so good underfoot. 2 laps (4.5ks) + 500m stretch. Predominantly grass and woodland. Gentle uphill fast downhill in woods - mind the roots!

Nice parkrun. Part grass, part woodland trail, two lapper. Tree roots and stones makes the trail a bit trippy. Little bit undulating. Dry in August, trail shoes needed when wet. Parking £1 or on street if you are stingy. Toilets and cafe.
