Edmondo Excellently organised race by home club. Race time a few seconds over watch time as I started a wee way back in the field. Didn't really prepare for this properly - long run day before, few beers, arrive late etc (all quality excuses...) - so didn't expect much. Lacked the gas really and ended up running a steady race which at least means I've completed the club championship. One bonus that I managed to finish in front of clubmate Bodo and that sure doesn't happen very often!

gilly b A PB for me so I'm happy! Hadn't been out since Wednesday so started off with heavy legs, but managed to get round 40 seconds quicker than last year. As always, the home baking went down a treat!

ian9657 My local club race but that said I can honestly say it's one of the best. Good turnout, good support. Slept in so no warm up, 5 min massage instead. Sub 4 min for 1st Km, then settled behind Norman until 2.5 then pulled away, hard between 3-4 and pushed it in last Km, overtaking a few including Jabu. Watch time 20.48. Last years time 21.33

The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Fastest time of the year, but thought Iwould have got nearer20.Still another higher speed workout. Great organisation as usual in what must be the top 5K in the West of Scotland. Well done to bedlam-g for his new shiny PB.
