Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

BDR Found the race tough and didn't do as well as I'd hoped - didn't even have anything left for a sprint finish. Still, I got a pb by 23 seconds so pleased with that - finally got a sub 27 minute 5k result! Official time as above (unofficial 26.50). Splits: 5.13, 5.27, 5.14, 5.33, 5.21.

Have an injured toe - toenail is black and very sore - didn't help that on Monday at karate I kicked someone's elbow with that toe - very swollen and sore. Ouch.

KatieB All in all I'm pleased with this. Considering my lack of training over the last few weeks, and the fact that I've been under the weather.

Mr BDR (Official time). The time on my watch was 20:58, but that was started late. My Km splits were: 4:00, 4:16, 4:09, 4:23, 4:10. New PB again!

RFJ Balancing Blues 5k (race 3 of 3)

Got there just in time, warmed up going to start and met up with a few forumits...

Wanted to get near PB but not expecting too much after having all last week off due to my head injury.

Off on the 1st K again very fast and hit it in 3:40 the second was also not too bad hitting 3:53, but could feel the strength fading, put in a bit of a burst for 3k hitting the mark at 3:48, then the wheeels came off, a Blister one hell of a hot spot on the outside of my foot, slowed me down along with being knackered - 3:59, tried to pick it up for the last K and hit that in 3:56, watch time 19:19, (equal PB) but official time is 19:20. So happy with that, with no blister could have gone 5 - 7 secs faster may be..... next time

so for the series

1 - 19:41 25th
2 - 19:19 23rd
3 - 19:20 24th

Now have to wait for the series positions was in 16th going into tonight.
Unaffiliated
17:59 19:19 19:19 19:20 68.45
