LiamS76 started steady across muddy fields, then gradually overtook lots of striders and Harlow runners on the tracks. from 30th at Ware to 16th, and much more enjoyable. And beat the other fivefinger wearer in the last mile!

PhilB66 First event in a BSRC vest and my first cross country race since school! Finished 32nd. Found it very hard going - partly due to the course with its mud and hills; mainly because of training lost to illness in January. Felt I was going backwards after the first mile and a half! However, reasonably pleased - something to improve on for the future! Shoes weighed about twice as much when I took them off as when I put them on!

Vindicator Not the best race I have had. Very tired from a high mileage week coming off the back of the Great Bentley Half. Slight stitch at mile 2, but was never able to get back to speed once it had gone. Struggled at the finish and would not have done well in a sprint to the line. 37th
