Disco Dave First time on a half and did not train enough. Got cramp at 10 miles and that was it. just kept walking. Enjoyed it though. Already in for 2008.

way2slow Wow - how did i manage that one?! Great race - plan was to stick with the runners world 8min/mile pacer until my legs fell off but actually felt pretty good at 10 miles so speeded up (think the pacer was a bit slow though on my garmin it read i had run 13.39 miles in 01:45:58 so guess i took a roundabout route). Didn't enjoy the hailstones and the wind was certainly an experience (got blown from one side of the track to the other at one point) but will deffo be doing this one again next year (already have fingers crossed for better weather).
