It'll be bread and fishes rather than cake, then? :)

Tigs - I think our mutual friend will also be wanting a medal.

Grid. How have you escaped our mutual friend's clutches without being completely pissed? Last night, he comes to the pub after running club with a few of us, he insists on buying the drinks as it's my birthday and I come home and try to break my toe! Are you even slighly tiddly?!?!

Tigs - I met him after work for what I specified would be a soft drink. I am oh so proud of myself - this only translated to a pint of Erdinger and a small glass of red wine.

Oh, and a curry.

Oh Tiggs, I missed your birthday, I am soooooo sorry. :-( Hope you had a great one heart

Could I please ask that the slowest group goes first like we did at the last mile, some of us need that extra time to recover from our coughing fits, especially as we have been ill again and are already coughing. Looks like a slower effort for me this mile. Is anyone doing a spod sheet with groups and times? Am happy to do it again and do we want Fetch numbers again?

On the bright side looks like hubby is coming to his first mile, though he has a bad ankle so may be supportive role or as I said on an earlier post just doing one of the shorter distances

Looking forward to seeing you all again :-)

Don't worry hls! At my age, it's nowt special!!

I have no problem with going first :) Also I know that we will have some steadier runners who may be a little nervous, and hanging around and watching people bezz round the track at 5mm pace could be quite intimidating, so yes, I think this is a great idea.

I think Mr Tiggia has got numbers sorted, but if you are happy to do the spod sheet, that would be really, really helpful - but if you've got too much on your plate, don't worry, we'll get it sorted.

I just hope I'll be able to run; the toe is still terribly open and now black! Urgh!

PS who got the medals for the last mile - I don't want to get duplicate medals! What were they like?
