It gives me pause for thought, though. Does anyone have a GPS of the route of previous New York "day before" 5ks? I might rethink my hotel based on that... |

Lots of chat on Facebook about the Boston jacket, colour scheme etc. I quite like it and I imagine I’ll pick one up, whereas others seem to detest it! Is anyone in the hat for either the NYC time qualification draw, or general ballot? I’ve stuck my name in for the ballot. |

I've paid for my guaranteed place, I've got a receipt but not a confirmation, but I'm guessing I'm in. Could (should) have waited - I was in a queuing system for the best part of three hours yesterday. Good luck those of you putting your hats in the ring. I've heard rave reviews! |

Well done DeeGee and good luck Big G. I applied with a non-NYRR time qualifier yesterday. I got through the system in about 20mins so 🤞. |

I also applied with a non-NYYR time. Process seemed pretty smooth, just hoping for the right outcome. [I've not seen the Boston jacket colour for this year; the year I did it the colour scheme was truly hideous and I declined!] |

This is Boston’s scheme for this year. forums.runnersworld.co.uk Best of luck to everyone for NYC. I did 3:06 at Seville and needed 3:05 to be in with a chance in the qualifier, so no good for me. Must try harder 😀 |

Can I check my understanding of the covid vaccine rules for USA? As long as you’ve had the first two vaccines and have the NHS pass, you’re ok to travel - is that right? I’ve actually had 4 but OH has had 3 only, and the 3rd was quite a while ago now, so just wanted to check.

Admittedly, my intel dates from October, but I'm 2x Vax + booster and have a digital COVID pass which I showed to my airline (used Verifly app as was flying BA). I've checked my usual online tool, staralliance.com which advises that two doses is enough to count as vaccinated. |

G - I last went in Nov. I took proof of jabs with me but didn’t end up showing it to anyone. There were no checks at the airport and no requirements to upload before flying (sometimes BA send out those emails telling you to do something but that’s because they are a too lazy to do things correctly and so put the stress back on the traveller).
