Enjoyed this evening very much indeed. Triple jump comp was ace. As was Muir's run and Hitchon's throwing. The 200 giys ran well too...excellent crowd.
The constant musid does my head in somewhat...

I picked seats right next to the Hammer ring and the near end of the T-Jump run ups, so you could see all the warm up stuff they do. I think Muir may have messed up slightly, ran to the front, then went a little slow. When she hot the front I thought that's it take it right out, all the way to then, but slowed, maybe it was a plan, I think it might be confidence. She will have learnt.
Hammer very consistent, only a metre or so from a medal.
Langford could sneak a medal later, he finished really well, but the 800 could be a bit messy.
I think we might only get the 2 medals (Farah, fingers crossed). I think Muir might struggle in the 5k after a hard race like last night, but I guess that was always the plan....

Nice to see the friendship between the pole vaulters. Kendricks was brilliant but I'm happy that Renaud managed to get a bronze medal in the end

I felt so sorry for Laura Muir as there was so much expectancy placed on her shoulders. Likewise for Kyle Langford this evening. If only he'd have kicked for home 3-5 metres earlier...

He looked out of it 100m out, Langford and the Pol wrre the last two, but everyone else slowed up. A brilliant effort. Bosse did well hanging in there.
When was the last time two Europeans got medals in a World 800m final?
