Maybe they just forgot to send them out, but can't bring themselves to admit it. And all the stamp money is going to pay for really snazzy technical t-shirts as a finisher's memento...

I figured your intial point could be true. They would save a few quid. May be they forgot as they are planning their Ocean Floor Run in Egypt. Obviously a lot more exciting and more work is required.

It does seem a bit odd. Maybe 100 or so race packs will be discovered in the garden shed of a postie in a few weeks time, just after they have been given the *sack* for non delivery of HRH post
