I’ve just walked past The Hand and Flower, going back to daft pub names.

Big Tom's place?

My favourite daft pub name was The Vulture's Perch, Kentish Town, that there London, back in the day.

Now, that seems to be Hand and Flowers (plural). I’m in Olympia not Marlow

I went to the Butt and Oyster pub last week.

It's a lovely place, great Orwell views but I complained vociferously about the fact there wasn't a picture of an arse on the sign outside.

Oh, hello.

The Whittle game show was the first time I was made aware of Tim Vine. He, and the show, were terrible - but it was Channel 5 so it's not like anyone was watching... (And it was marginally more entertaining than 100%. And a lot less entertaining than Sunset Beach...)

I have a concern about the Clag-Gone™ It appears that to be effective, one would have to pedal in reverse. An easy thing to forget, with potentially unfortunate consequences. For that price, I really think it should have incorporated some kind of directional reversal system, to enable normal pedaling.
