Was I grateful for FETCHPOINT in 2012 when I had to DNF at halfway. I can't recall who it was that helped me but they were amazing - giving me painkillers and helping sort out getting the St Johns Ambulance people for me (it transpired I had a stress fracture). FETCH POINT is ace. Not sure how but last year I managed to run straight past and was at 24 miles when it occurred to me I hadn't spotted fetch point - how on earth I did that I still don't know - talk about being in the zone

Fetchpoint is indeed ace! Really excited about seeing you all there on Sunday, many thanks to kwala and everyone else involved in setting it up and then supporting it!

Just checking non-Fetchies ie my wife are welcome at Fetchpoint? Think she will come along to see me there rather than finding somewhere else on the route?

Everyone is welcome at Fetchpoint Scooba Steve...well not everyone as it would get a bit crowded and you'd have no support anywhere else on the route, but you get what I mean
And it'll be easier for you to spot FP and then sporthan trying to find a single face in the crowd along the way

And I'm pretty sure it's easier for the runners to spot FP and then spot their loved ones amongst the Fetchies than trying to find a single face in the crowd along the way

It's rare that someone misses Fetchpoint on the way past, although we usually get one or 2
