I did apply to the chase, but mainly because my Mum liked it and I would watch it with her when I visited. Never even got a telephone interview. Shame, because I think I’d have done well if I got on.

I couldn't warm to them at all, and wanted the other team to do better, but they absolutely dominated. Wasn't really concentrating during missing vowels (got very absorbed with answering rather than watching who answered!) but they seemed to demolish that too. Fingers crossed a more charismatic team does for them later

They were impressively calm and systematic on the wall. The job of the guy on the right seemed to be to remind the captain to press the button before the time ran out.
