**googles 'nightclubs Camberley 1980s'**

Ah ha, here's the puppy:

Ragamuffins, Camberley
Ragamuffins may have shut in 1995 but the clubbers who partied there in its heyday have organised reunions over the years to take a trip back in time to their nightclub days.

Ragamuffins Nightclub was a social hub in the town for around 20 years, attracting clubbers from west Surrey as well as north east Hampshire.

Kingston had a place that was supposedly a bit more upmarket, I think it was called Options in the late 80s.

One of my tests for ‘Is this place a shit hole’ was having an establishment describing itself as a ‘Nite Club’ on the High Street.

Another was having the knock off Kentucky Fried Chicken take away places - things like ‘Dixie Fried Chicken’ or ‘Southern Fried Chicken’.

Another was being called Slough…..
