Nellers
I got bored so I rowed a Half Marathon. Got a PB (only my second ever rowing Half). Feel knackered and my bum hurts but I’m quite pleased with that.

Nellers, come update us with your rowing prowess over on TTTT thread please!
Well, what haven't I done (lots, but I've done a couple of little chores, so need to blow trumpet - toot!)
* cut the lawn. Twice. Toot, toot! * bought seed to try and fix patches in lawn due to bliddy moles!
* bought some batteries for smoke alarms. (Taking them down, removing battery then leaving them lying on side board really isn't good, is it?!) * got my wife a Bluetooth speaker to use outdoors (so she stopped nicking my Bose one!) * got a wireless mouse to replace the 3 (yes THREE!) that my wife has lost, broken or otherwise stolen! * bought my wife 2 power banks to charge/power her video robot tripod (and yes, she is also nicking the one good one of mine that she first used - she needs 3. I might have buy another!) * submitted elec reading (1.5 years since I did that. Oops!) * paid for oil that I had topped up (well done me) pre lock down, but forgot to pay invoice. Oops! * helped my wife put in 3 fence posts (this was under duress!) * put 6 baby pictures in frame (he's now 15 months, and he was 3 months in these pics - yes, it's been a year!) * bought (and assembled 8 screws - get me!) office chair. And got hdmi cable for old screen so have some vague kind of home office thing going on.
Still to do
- seed patches and feed lawn - put down mole deterrent stuff to try and protect lawn (fat chance!) - make a wood store (we've got loads of wood picked up from various areas of garden and fields, but if you just pile it against side of garage and it gets rained on it's not much use for fire - chop logs (this may be too much of a goal and may never be achieved!) - get a keyboard and a laptop stand
This working from home and buying stuff on amazon lark is great fun! G

Well done westmoors too. And Eynsham, sorry about mother's day cancellation (happened to lots of us) but well done on scrambled eggs. I used to love them, but my vegetarianism is growing arms and legs and I seem to be off eggs. Still doing milk tho. Ain't no vegan! G

Rosehip
I have been mainly doing boring housework this morning -
but I've managed to mend my reading glasses using the wire from a bag-tie thingy - so now I can read my laptop screen again

RH, I've used staples to fix my glasses in the past.
