My mate sent me this photo of yesterday’s playtime. This was us racing back down the estuary against the tide. Cold but, it would seem, very happy.

Agreed, not trained today (was due a 20 mile run). Head not in the game.
Main objective has been recallibrating my life. Goals and priority events that have spurred me to 80+ hour training weeks will almost certainly not take place, and not sure whether I would even have that focus if they were.
I’m dropping training by 40-50%, which is still quite a lot of training. It’ll keep me pretty fit for when this passes, but is easily sustainable.
I couldn’t keep the current level going in the current circumstances and uncertainty. Feels OK to let go for a while.
It’ll free up time for other things, and will ensure the immune system is strong rather than seriously compromised.
Hope everyone’s ok. I still plan to arse about here and hopefully not post too many serious threads.....
