TRO - I know what you mean re. threshold work on a treadie. If it was on a level or even slightly raised incline I'd agree with you, but on the rolling hills program (L3/L4 and above), it's more realistic. Basically, I try and hold pace as the incline increases and it's pure sweaty murder. I do an hour with an easy warm-up.
