For a minute or so it was like watching a track race. ~3k from the end, 5 abreast and no-one wanting to be in front.

A nice gentle 31k in an hour and 12, job jobbed.
There's something not quite right with the gear shifting on the back cassette, though. Sometimes going down it has a weird click lag for several rotations the seems to drop suddenly.
Not quite happy about that.

Because I’m not allowed to swim and it’s the longest period of hot weather in 40-odd years I’m rather resentful of swimmers.
The weather will break the day I get the all-clear from the hospital. Guaranteed.
