I have known Charlie Chaplin for 48 years. I do not remember a perm. Perhaps I am suppressing a traumatic memory?

I seem to recall having curly hair in the mid eighties after a visit to the hairdressers, thank goodness social media wasn't around back then!!

There is photographic evidence somewhere. It was an attempt at an afro.

I had SO many perms in the 80s. What a waste of time and credibility.

Here's me in the mid 80s
Quite glad to have missed the perm era. The first fashionable cut I had was the Rachel, I think, also known as a shag.
I'm back btw. 2 runs this week and probably a parkrun tomorrow. Bike is at the menders for a new shifter and I'll be looking to squeeze in some pool time as soon as I can.
What's in the diary for the hotel smackdown for next year?

Sea swim done. Ooof. 1.2 miles/40 mins, so November part of the bet done, December will be properly gnarly....
