I swam. Lots of pool buoy. Couldn't seem to settle into rhythm at all. Water all thick and fighty. Tired.

Kidding - I just ran 7 miles on icy roads in the Fens , if it hadnt been for some drills I have done in sand I would not have been able to run.

Indeed, I estimate the end of Winter 16/17 will be about ten past 11 this morning - I'll pop out and confirm this so we can all get on with enjoying Summer.

Although Winter may nip back for the odd day visit, probably for my first TT of the season, my trip to the 'V' and the Spring Saddle Sportive which is always in Winter.

I thought Spring Saddle was in Autumn. Dark, quite cold, bit rainly, slippery road surfaces?

First event of the Chelmer/Ford TT series is always in winter, and I marshal. That's on April 11th if you want to mark your diaries to pack an extra jumper.
