Just back in from a recce of the proposed club bike ride route for this week. As suspected, a couple of the roads are more worthy of a bubble-tyred moon buggy. This is what happens when you plan without intelligence. Who gave the officer the map?!

I shall be making recommendations.

Parkrun this morning with the bearded one. We both managed it without dying fatally to death in the heat, although it was touch and go with Glenn at times.

Heat is good for bike not for running.

Had a good bike yesterday over 30 miles quite enjoyed it. Finished off with a brick run which I wouldn't have gone but my wife 'volunteered' me. Running with this young Romanian lad who wants to get fit by running EVERY day I've given him a plan which doesn't involve that. He thought he could do about an hour and half I guessed a third of that I was right ;-).
