Def no more than 500 (I can find these mavics for about 360)- just wheels I can do longer hillier rides on that don't weigh a ton of bricks and make my bike faster. Basically, I'd like a miracle

I love my Mavics. Make the bike feel lovely and light and great for climbing. Very forgiving for a rubbish cyclist like me so they'll make you fly 😃

I only know cos I looked it up last year! Freehub is the bit the back gears fit on to. I got these wiggle.co.uk No idea if they are particularly light or fantastic but somehow the bike feels nicer with them on (it came with the 7's on, they are now winter wheels) |

Morning. Easy run and some Z2 watting yesterday. Fun-de-lye. Then lioned this morning which is not good. I was deeply disturbed by Grep's faeces book feed yesterday of various service stations, however at least he didn't selfie as well... I'm on the E2 Thursday night. Whoop! Rarrrrggghhhh etc |

Leeds ITU-ers, don't know if you have found the Athlete's Guide yet but it does answer most of the logistical type questions (even if I am not entirely sure of my gameplan on the day yet....need to get back for the Elite races as well) I did not know this existed - it was not linked in the recent email with your race number oddly but fortunately someone on Tritalk put the link up otherwise I may not have found it. So just in case... wts-assets.triathlon.org |

I got an e-mail of that link today TRO. It says water bottles on the bike are compulsory kit. Is this normal? It's only an Oly. I haven't got a clue what I'm up to on race day. I'll be finishing around the time my sister starts and we want to watch the elites. I'm hoping her & her husband have a bit of a plan and a better knowledge of Leeds city centre than me. I know how to get to Majestics from the train station and thats about it |

Never heard of that rule before. Strange event all round I think. Apparently us in the standard event go off in 25 waves each 4 minutes apart and about 125 per wave. Can see the bike and run being ludicrously busy - bike is an out and back so only half the road in each direction and run is 5 laps of 2k each. I've no idea how they have sorted who goes in what wave either. We may be the 'Southern Softies' wave Dunno why really but I fear chaos.... |
