I'm currently editing a 'Best of Spring 2022 Treadmill Running Scenary' video and with 3 more videos still to be added, it's already 2 hours long!
I am going to be more 'strict' on what I include (i.e. only keep the best footage) but it will still likely be at least 2 hours.
I was planning to have two versions, one with music and one with just natural sounds. But do you think I should also break the video down into parts and release them separately? If so, how long should each part be? An hour?
I never run for more than an hour on dreadmill. Mostly though 30 mins so an hour x2 would good for me in case I decide to go longer.also I listen to my own music so if adding yours is a drama perhaps use natural sounds.
I love the sound of nature so it wouldn’t bother me .
Fair point - most of my virtual runs are no more than an hour. On average the videos get around 20-30% average view duration (interestingly the actual length of the video seems to make no difference to the audience retention as a percentage.
I think I'll split it into 2 parts and remove some of the 'crapier' bits - it's currently 2 hours 35 minutes!
