In the grand scheme of things (winning the tour) it doesn't, as Wiggins said. Did you watch it on ITV? The picture I saw was Contador sitting up to go round a corner. Obviously he pushed on the straights but don't think he took any risks in the corners.

Glad it dried out near the end as it was looking a bit processional for a while there. Nice work from Lance showing he's definitely up for it. Cancellara magnificent in a league of his own.
