HTC won't bother with a GC contender while they have Cavendish..... should he go to Sky then things may change.

The Schlecks are setting up their own Luxembourg based team and so leaving.

Cyclingnews say Benjamin Noval, Daniel Navarro, David De La Fuente and Jesus Hernandez are likely to go with Contador wherever he goes, so that's the domestiques sorted. cyclingnews.com

Yeah cycling news and the bbc say it all.
The key thing is Specialized bikes being the glue that will bind it all together, as Hamms says. Riis will have a bit of a job I suspect with a Classics team, short stage race team and Grand tour team(s) to keep happy.
Cancellara will feature in all three I guess. Is he still contracted to Riis for 2011?

According to Cyclingnews he Cancellara will be there, I guess they'd only say that if he was still contracted.

It wouldn't surprise me if Big Jens went with the Schlecks as they seem to do all their training away from the team together. Although Big Jens must be coming up for retirement soon (DS role at the Schleck's team?).

I think Jens might be good in the peloton for another year or two yet. He and his Mrs keep producing kids so he probably needs the money lol

He probably also enjoys the three week break, from her demands and the kids!

Good win for Russ Downing today. I wonder if he's in the Sky squad for the Vuelta, I'd love to see how he gets on at the very highest level.

Schleck's leaving Saxo? Hadn't heard that. Contador tried to get deals with Caisse D'Epargne and Quickstep earlier this year so it might be one of them picks him up, although CdE have lost their sponsor so maybe unlikely. Quickstep had a pretty good tour. I reckon Lance will throw another curve-ball and he'll end up at RadioShack with Bruyneel and most of last years Astana squad

From velonation:

"The rumor mill has also seen the Spaniard moving over to Bjarne Riis team to replace Andy and Frank Schleck when they leave to join a new team out of Luxembourg. Saxo Bank is ending its sponsorship at the end of the season, and Sungard will be taking over as a co-sponsor, with the other co-sponsor to be named this fall. VeloNation reported more than a week ago that Specialized was rumored to be the additional co-sponsor of Riis' team."
