Title Tales - Short Stories from Book Titles

The idea is you make a short story from the titles of books. Here's my attempt at a poetic tale. Anyone else want to have a go?

I was going to do Enduring Love, The Human Stain In Between The Sheets, but I don't have a copy of the last one.
