Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The quieter conditions today have helped produce more spectacular pictures. :)

Straight from today's digital developing tank, views from the perspective of Iron Man No. 82; and a frenetic gathering of gulls and a few ravens as the clouds became tinged pink towards sunset.

I have lost some of the quality as I had to zoom in but this was this evening on a walk with my neighbour.

Reminds me of a pan of custard coming to the boil; or god's duvet. ;) I think it works well.

Some beautiful sunsets. Mine not as inspirational but first one I’ve seen this year (was in the house last night)

geordiegirl Speaking personally, I find the transit of the rising and setting sun a constant source of joy and reflection [no pun intended] :)
