A pal of mine is a pro photographer [police, soco, film & tv] and he explained that photographing the moon was challenging because of the strength f the light source. At this point, I asked for the accompanying notes...

At least getting up for sunrises means 7am alarm, rather than 3 am this time of year (although -4 deg won't be nice) Good pics team!
