Great, lammo 💪 I’m ok food wise. Exercise, not great. I’m away visiting my sister from Wednesday and we encourage each other so 🤞it will be a good week. It depends if we encourage each other to exercise or to eat cake and with 2 birthdays to celebrate, it might be the latter 🫤 |

The plate sounds interesting. I’m assuming it helps with balance and core strengthening. I’ve weighed in a day early as we are away for a few days visiting Alice the Camel. It was Geoff’s birthday yesterday and we celebrated, but in moderation. I took him to Cleethorpes to swim in the sea - something he avoided whilst we were in Cornwall. He got a wetsuit and took the plunge and we had the best time 😃 We were the only ones in the sea and it was just glorious. I’m still smiling 😊 Anyhoo, 0.3kg off this week. Still 1.3kg away from my lowest but heading in the right direction. I had a good chat with my coach on Monday and we have an 11 week plan to drop a dress size for Christmas. Basically I need to move more 🏃🏽♀️🏋️♀️ |

Thanks lammo. I hope so. I’ve been plateauing since June - my coach calls it maintaining - but I still have weight to lose so I need to do something different.

ebay.co.uk This is mine it came without leaflet I am up to ten minutes. It will help with core strength and I am hoping it will help Achilles as well. GM I am son glad you and Geoff had a great time on his birthday and that he enjoyed the seaswim. Great plan from coach and weight loss.A good goal and we all could do with moving more. I had my PT session yesterday and I can feel my legs getting stronger I can squat lower without losing form and Dead lift 40k I starter at 25 and G builds up slowly but progress every week. I was running a steep incline post G session and my legs felt so strong I could feel the difference. |

Good going on deadlifts WP, i had a go on Thursday, nice and easy to re-introduce me. I have had a very productive weekend consisting mainly of cutting hedges, i am very pleased with the outcomes, even managed to cut the grass this afternoon, so the garden looks great. Big laurel hedges aren't compatible with easy to maintain gardens, my shoulders really ache. Which brings me on to my main question for today, i had finished in the garden and had a shower in time for the rugby and in days gone past would have had a beer to congratulate myself, but didn't feel i wanted to jeopardise a weeks hard work, so had a glass of red wine, which was lovely, but it wasn't as good as a beer. Should i just get over myself and have a beer, or what do you congratulate yourself with? |

Tricky one, lammo. I don't drink alcohol often and Geoff has gone dry this year after being a daily drinker until the end of December '22, so I don't use alcohol as a reward. Also, I have been advised by my coach not to eat the calories I burn when exercising. Having said that, if you've had a good workout and red wine hasn't hit the spot, having a beer is reasonable. It's the excessive imbibing that would be a problem. Factor in the calories to your daily allowance. |
