That is great Lammo.

GM that sounds like a great trip and shows if you balance the hiking and running you can eat most things on holiday.

It was jelly beans not babies that attacked me.

I took my soda stream bottles away with me and worked a treat. So straight an narrow from today.PT this morning and 4 weeks for my 10k! I would like to be fit and well for that one!

I've got a phone call booked with my coach tomorrow afternoon so we can plan the next few weeks. I want to drop a dress size by Christmas and shift the last few lbs - he'll have his work cut out for him getting me to achieve that :)

It sounds like you both are doing well, which is encouraging for me. Thank you both šŸ”„

How did the phone call go GM? Are you all motivated and ready to go?

How are you WP?

I didn't lose any weight last week, and i can't really put my finger on why, still it's been good so far so i'll just keep going, hoping to get back to the gym tonight, which might help in the long run

Hi šŸ‘‹

Iā€™ve been trying to cut down my screen time so am not on here much at the moment, so I forgot to update.
I had a very productive call with my coach. Heā€™s putting me a new exercise plan together to freshen things up,
Iā€™m highly motivated at the moment with everything but exercise - have been since I got home from holiday. Iā€™ve been setting my alarm early and having a quiet hour alone to plan my day and do a bit of reading before the day gets going. Combined with a dip in our new ice tub (without the iceā€¦) early evening, in sleeping really well now.
Except for last night, when Geoff woke in the night and couldnā€™t get back to sleep and the morning routine suffered as a result.

Weight loss is rarely linear, lammo, just hold onto the fact that you did the right things, so the loss will show on the scales when it feels so inclined. Have another good week.

Hello lammo and GM

I agree with GM hold the faith trust the proccess and all will come right.

GM-That is great it all sounds perfect with new routines.Do you have photo ice tub?

I am also trying to cut down on screen time as I did that on holiday. But sleeping is suffering with my shoulder injury so took pain killers last night and i did sleep better just very poor with tossing and turning.
I used to have an hour before I would get OH up but since our move it is not happening.I would get up 5-6am at the moment it is 7-8am and I hate that.
I never kept diary till Saturday so as expected a gain this morning but back on it logging my food and hoping less resting. But sadly still fatigued.New class started this coming Saturday at village hall so going to go along and try it.it is called The works so cardio, weights, circuits and HIIT-it maybe full of young women so will see if any other oldies turn up.It will mean running post session it is 3 miles away so may run back from class;-)

Your shoulder sounds to be impacting in lots of ways, Wp. Hope it recovers soon.
Hereā€™s my ice tub set up

I like to go in when itā€™s dark and Iā€™ve set up lights and candles. Itā€™s lovely

The water's around 16Āŗc and I stay in for 10-12 minutes. I was doing 15 minutes when it was a degree of two warmer, but with the air being colder I don't stay so long now. I will decrease time the colder it gets.

Why 15 mpw? Itā€™s nice to focus on the process but very easy to ignore without a why - ā€œconsistent running will improve PBsā€? Will you do 5 x 3 or 3 x 5?

Fraggle: TBC

Welsh Poppy:

Body fat at 22%

HOW: I will do this by sticking to

1799 calories a day

111g protein( as per JSA)

3. 10000 steps a day (I know itā€™s an arbitrary number but it will focus my efforts to move more!)

Sweetie:

Goal: Lose 8-10lbs before Christmas

1850 calories per day

Not to exceed sugar target on MFP

3 walks per week (in additional to regular training plan - I can swim/bike/run and shift nothing but with walking the weight seems to go quite rapidly)
1 x yoga per week (not related to weight loss but need to get back into regular stretching).

Lammo:

Lose 8 kg by end of year

Exercise for 7 hours per week (i'd rather not include walking, but am sure i will to start with)

How: No snacks, less sugar, more fruit and veg, also making better use of my time for being active.

Angus:

Back to 100 mile months and to 200 miles by end May

1600-1700 cals, + extra on long run days

Increase lean protein in diet

Spend less time on sofa.

Jaks:

Iā€™d like to lose a pound a week up to Christmas by cutting out sweets, biscuits, cake and crisps. Really need to eat healthier and I like the idea of having accountability on here.

Gimmie Medals:

I want to:

Lose 10kg by Christmas

Run 5k comfortably (might include jeffing, but itā€™s the comfortable bit Iā€™m after)

Iā€™m doing it by:

10k steps a day (Iā€™ve just hit my longest streak of 18 days)

Counting calories on MFP (Daily calories as per JSA calculator)

3 x resistance exercise sessions each week

3 x runs a week including a parkrun or 5k
