We had a stunning day last November for Sgor Gaoith. Richard and shanksi went far too close to the edge!

I have a great picture of three of us on Sgor Gaoith standing significantly further out on a huge cornice than you'd ever catch me venturing these days. Still a day memorable for the fantastic weather 38 years later.

I've been told on several occasions that Glen Feshie is wonderful and that the view from Sgor Gaoith across to Braeriach, Angels' Peak etc is wonderful. Unfortunately, on the once occasion I made the effort to go visibility was down to about 3 metres so I didn't see a flipping thing. Still, it was a nice run up through the woods.

After being rained in in Mull since Wednesday, we’ve had a rain free day. Boggy underfoot in parts but with a promise of some clear sky. We did Ben More, starting from Loch Na Keal, we climbed Beinn Fhada then took the ridge route via A Chioch. We were sandwiched between low cloud/ fog and high cloud so had a wonderful view inland and out to Skye. Both The Cuilin and Ben Nevis were visible poking out from their own bits of cloud.

Great pics! We did it the easy way and had gorgeous views of the ridge once we got to the top.

Caught a very brief piece on some evening show (I was in the gym - not stuff I would normally see!) on Munro bagging - thought bit daft until... Jamie A appeared! She's an evening TV programme star. G
