HowFar?
Me too. It took me ages to spot it.
Mind you - I was also looking for hidden messages in the stone work and the windows.

Going back a couple of pages, it was nice to see Bish's photos of Gedling as I've done that parkrun and also at this time of year I would do hill training in Nottingham after work (although not this year for obvious reasons) and I made it there a couple of times. I'm wondering if Chrisity's is from Attenborough Nature Reserve as that's also a nice place where I've been for a run.

My first thought was that Em was referring to the IIII for 4, and I was going to point out that is a valid way of writing 4 in Roman numerals. Apparently clock makers like it because it provides a nice symmetry - four numbers with an X, four with a V and four with neither.

I didn't spot that either. And I've always wondered why 4 is usually written as IIII on clocks but IV the rest of the time. And reminds me of going on holiday and my sister was reading the directions (she was about 6 or 7 at the time) She kept saying that we were looking for a pub called the George Eye Vee. My mum and I couldn't work out what she meant, until we passed the George IV.

Becca, it's from where the path from Balloon Woods to Cossall crosses the path from Trowel to Strelley if that makes sense, i was on my way to Oldmoor Wood to see the bluebells.
Sorry that i've only just seen this thread, do we start the Greek Alphabet after we get to Z?

Remembered this thread with only a couple of km left to go, but still found a noticeboard and nettles!

Apparently, it's never 11 o'clock here in Littledean! The church is called St Ethelbert's. The other interesting thing about it (if you're interested in these kinds of things) is that it lost its octagonal spire in 1894, thanks to the wind, so it now just has a stump. I haven't been able to find any date for the introduction of the clock face error

We've got a church in a village a little north of here which only has one hand (deliberately so)
And now off for today's run, brought to you by the letter O

How about a 'one handed clock' minardi - that's your 'O' done already!
