Commiserations Dio, for quick recovery. Hate running injuries out of all proportion, myself. Hope all those racing at w/e have a good time, like Lemons contingency plans.
I used to marshal for Cotswold iron & 113, they are lovely people, sorry I can't this year, would love to give JC a shout.
Thank you for the birthday wishes - been on the go all glorious day, first a P.Joker threshold run, interspersed with birdwatching on Lodmoor rspb reserve, later cycled into town to recycling centre, solicitors, library & m&s food hall . After some lunch a dawdle along cliffs & down to next beach along. From standing room only on Weymouth central beach, to this my potential swimming pool, there was family having a great time there today, usually, no-one. Still too chilly for me but we had a little sit with our binoculars, enjoying the view. Whilst I remember, hope it all goes well for Doris the chook

Oh Dio that's very unlucky - I hope it's really just something minor and quickly recoverable from.
Reading your post about learning the proper terms made me smile though. I'm such a hypochondriac that if you were to look through my browsing history 'anatomy of knee/hip/lower leg/foot/elbow/shoulder' would feature very strongly
Lovely photo ferret but are you sure the sea is still too chilly? There were quite afew skins swimmers in the sea at Sidmouth last weekend.

Oi ITG! I've been at work since Monday (with compression tights beneath the trousies, obviously) and haven't had a moment to Fetch anything. I was enjoying the novelty of the moment.
I will remove myself promptly and become a lowly denizen of the depths of 1000. I've only managed the venerable 700 twice before, and much later in the year, and so the etiquette was lost on me.
The magnificent bunting was much appreciated: you are all too kind.

That beach looks lovely, Ferret. to Doris. We had a broody hen at one time; we called her Judy. She hatched out six duck eggs very successfully.
