Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Looks like the pitch needs a bit more rolling... it's a tad seamer friendly

You'd retain Jimmy Anderson on that track.

No you wouldn't as that would be kicking the can down the road.

'Ruthless England make right decision on Anderson':

bbc.co.uk

But the output has dipped. Just 15 wickets in his past eight Tests, compared to the 38 Broad took in his final eight. Anderson may have taken a hatful against West Indies and Sri Lanka this summer, but that would have only kicked the can down the road. It is the right decision.

Makes no sense to me, if he's good enough keep kicking the can. Technically everyone has to be replaced eventually sooner or later.

It sounds like he's clearly been pushed but is quite sanguine about it all based on the reports on his comments.

Shemelt has drunk the McCullum-Stokes-Bazball koolade. Very little they do can be wrong.

I noticed in his writings of the India tour.

I also suspect he's probably the next BBC cricket correspondant when Aggers steps down from that role at the end of the summer - that's why he was the only one sent to India (and the fact that TMS were stopped from broadcasting the series)
