An exception to the ‘Women are from Wales’ audiobook narration. Narrator has just delivered a quote from Clarice Starling in a French accent. (Has he confused her with a Bond villain?)

Clarice Starling's voice was more sort of "Exshuse me shir, we hayve a lead."

V'rap there was only one of my passwords I couldn't remember after being off for 2 weeks - I only worked out the others yesterday ;-).
First day done, having a cup of tea ☕️ instead of running cause I left late and would have time before collecting Alfie ( will need to address this problem)

Watching TV at son2's house. There are three remote controls. I've got Now TV working but have no idea how the two other remotes are meant to be used.
(Just like my mum used to, I've pressed every possible button and it'll probably take them hours to unpick what I've done )

Better than the audiobook I am listening. The narrator must be an Australian, despite the novel being about English footballers. He can just about do an unaccented English voice, but all the Londoners sound half Aussie, and the Northern accents are on a constant search for a recognisable home, sometimes slipping north of the noreder or across the North Sea to Norn Irn.

Usually two of the remotes belong to other silent pieces of equipment that live below the telly in their own dark world

I have a feeling that Clarice Starling is supposed to be from the Appalachian mountains. Or somewhere round there. In any case, Not France. Or Wales.
