Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Help please?
Initially thought it was a buzzard - but it wasn't 'soaring' quite as expected & had an odd body shape. About the size of a buzzard or red kite, but any ideas what it was? Or just a fat buzzard?

No idea, Um, sorry!

Lots of whooper swans by Lough Neagh yesterday on my way to do a spot of parkrun tourism. 7 flying on my way up and about 50 grazing on the way back. I also saw a few lambs. Not newborn, maybe a month old. It seems very early

Pai of Ravens on the Long side ridge hopping up to people and ‘begging “ for food- they seemed to enjoy the cupcake a walker was feeding them!

Counted 14 Kestrel alongside the A1 on my drive up yesterday- that’s a record for our tally sheet

Black grouse, male, on lunchtime run. And a field of winter thrushes.

More reports of waxwing fairly locally, but none here yet.
