I think Sean Dyche has finally lost the plot.

Took off the only recognised striker (Beto) we had and replaced him with Ashley (not) Young as the game headed towards penalties.

And guess who missed the penalty to knock us out.

I've seen some strange subs in my time but that one goes straight to the top.

Toto Schillachi has died. Seems young to me but he was 59. Bizarrely one of my first football heroes.

Only a year after Vialli too.

Great story the way Schillachi burst into the 1990 WC out of nowhere.

That World Cup just felt such a momentous event, feels like the enormity of them has been in decline ever since.

Maybe it’s a generational thing.

He literally grabbed the smallest opportunity had in glorious style. And then nigh on vanished from international view again.

In fact of his 7 goals for Italy, 6 came in that World Cup. That's some phenomenal performance!

Yes, he can run and has electric pace. But his footballing ability is almost pub standard.
